9) Caption reads:  The Canadian Falls, which is the larger of the two falls at Niagara, extends from Goat Island to the Canadian shore in the general shape of a horseshoe. From its shape, it has acquired another name:  Horseshoe Falls.

10) Postmarked Aug 9, 1956.  Caption reads:  Horseshoe Falls from Goat Island, Niagara Falls, New York. These falls are separated from the American Falls by this island, which also separates Canada and the United States, and is reached by a bridge from the American mainland.
